BANGKOK ELEPHANT PARK

Experience with elephants today at the first and only elephant park in Bangkok.

Mission & Vision

Bangkok Elephant Park was born from the founder’s love and concern for Thai elephants.
Through direct experiences of witnessing elephants suffering from forced hard labor, performing
in inappropriate conditions, and being confined in limited zoo spaces, the founder decided to
dedicate themselves to helping these elephants.

With a large inherited plot of fertile land with a good environment for elephants on the outskirts
of Bangkok, the owner initiated the “Bangkok Elephant Park” project. The vision was to
create a safe and natural home for rescued elephants while providing opportunities for people to
learn about and experience these intelligent and gentle animals.

Bangkok Elephant Park is not only a sanctuary for elephants but also a vibrant learning center.
Here, visitors can learn about the long history of the relationship between Thai people and
elephants, the importance of elephants to the ecosystem, and the challenges elephants face in
today’s world.

With meticulously designed activities such as walking with elephants to observe their natural
behavior and lifestyle up close, learning proper elephant care methods, and participating in
preparing special food for elephants, visitors can experience the gentleness and intelligence of
elephants up close, without any form of forcing or abusing the elephants.

Moreover, Bangkok Elephant Park collaborates with leading animal conservation
organizations and educational institutions to conduct research and develop sustainable
conservation approaches for Thai elephants, including rehabilitating areas that are natural
habitats for elephants.

With a commitment to creating positive change, Bangkok Elephant Park is not just a tourist
attraction but also a source of inspiration for people to realize the importance of elephant and
nature conservation. The founder and team hope that everyone who visits will have a memorable
experience and leave with a greater love and understanding of Thai elephants, to collectively
create a brighter future for Thai elephants and our ecosystem.
